NUMBERED SUBSEQUENT HAND-PAINTED EDITIONS
SUBSEQUENT EDITIONS
There are many global companies in the art industry that commission
artists to hand-paint subsequent editions of the works of other artists.
In most cases, or to just simply fulfill the purpose of decor and
not fine art, this only freezes the value of the painting giving
very little to almost no future investment for the buyer.
As for the artwork seen throughout this entire website, all subsequent
editions are hand-painted and hand-crafted, from the preparation
of the canvas to the varnishing of the painting, by no other party
other than the original artist herself -- Leanne Laine. This, in
turn, fulfills the purpose of fine art and sustains increasing value
for her collectors. Like any hand-painted subsequent edition, the
actual brushstrokes can never be identically duplicated multiple
times, making the painting original in its own way like a "fingerprint".
However, nobody knows the process in achieving Leanne's work better
than herself -- careful timing, color palette, technique in her application,
appropriate painting/craft tools required, and conception -- all
can only be authentic with true expression from the original artist.
So with much pride, Leanne works hard to ensure that the Images and
colors are produced exactly as seen (unless a request has been made
for a different color palette to suit the color theme where it will
hang.)
All paintings are signed on the front (or on the sides for multi-piece
paintings) as well as signed on the back along with a date and location
of completion, title, noting "hand-painted" and medium
used, and its own authenticity code making each hand-painted edition
distinct from one another which corresponds with a supplement Certificate
of Authenticity. While each painting may vary in how many subsequent
editions are produced, no painting will have more than 10 hand painted
subsequent editions worldwide.
